경상북도 자카르타사무소는 2026년 1월 30일(금) 인도네시아 내무부 협력촉진센터 팀장 리코(Rico)를 비롯한 관계 공무원들을 사무실로 초청해, 경상북도에 대한 이해를 높이고 상호 협력 가능성을 모색하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

인도네시아 내무부 협력촉진센터는 해외 지방자치단체와의 MOU 체결 승인, 대학 및 민간 분야 교류 협약에 대한 사전 협의·조정 권한을 보유한 핵심 기관으로, 향후 양 지역 간 교류 확대에 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있습니다.

이번에 방문한 내무부 대표단은 경상북도가 인도네시아에서 추진 중인 새마을운동 ODA 사업을 통해 경상북도에 대해 이미 긍정적인 인식을 갖고 있었습니다.

자카르타사무소는 이번 방문을 계기로 경상북도의 역사와 문화, 경제 구조와 산업 경쟁력, 주요 특산품과 관광자원 및 투자 환경 등에 대해 상세히 소개했으며, 양측은 향후 지방정부 간 교류, 대학·연구기관 협력 등 협력 확대 가능성에 대해 폭넓은 의견을 나눴습니다.

경상북도 자카르타사무소는 앞으로도 인도네시아 중앙정부 및 지방정부, 교육·민간 기관과의 네트워크를 지속적으로 강화하여, 경상북도와 인도네시아 간 실질적이고 지속가능한 협력 관계 구축에 적극 힘쓸 계획입니다.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Jakarta Office invited Mr. Rico, Team Leader of the Cooperation Promotion Center of Indonesia’s Ministry of Home Affairs, along with related officials, to its office on January 30, 2026 (Friday) to enhance mutual understanding of Gyeongsangbuk-do and explore possibilities for future cooperation.

The Cooperation Promotion Center of the Ministry of Home Affairs is a key institution that holds authority to approve MOUs with foreign local governments and to conduct prior consultations and coordination for exchange agreements in the academic and private sectors. It plays a crucial role in expanding cooperation between the two regions.

The visiting delegation already had a positive perception of Gyeongsangbuk-do through the province’s Saemaul Undong ODA projects being implemented in Indonesia.

Taking this visit as an opportunity, the Jakarta Office introduced in detail Gyeongsangbuk-do’s history and culture, economic structure and industrial competitiveness, major local specialties, tourism resources, and investment environment. Both sides also exchanged a wide range of views on expanding cooperation, including inter-governmental exchanges and partnerships between universities and research institutions.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Jakarta Office will continue to strengthen its network with Indonesia’s central and local governments, as well as educational and private-sector institutions, and will actively work toward building a practical and sustainable cooperative relationship between Gyeongsangbuk-do and Indonesia.
