한국 관광 붐 조성하기 위해 마련된 ‘한국 트래블 페어(Korea Travel Fair)’가 자카르타의 주요 쇼핑몰인 코타 카사블랑카 몰에서 11월 14일(금)부터 16일(일)까지 개최되었습니다.

이번 행사는 한국관광공사가 주최하고 여행사·항공사·지자체 등 27개 기관이 참여했으며, 10만 명이 넘는 현지 방문객이 행사장을 찾았습니다. 현장에서는 항공권 할인, 여행 캐시백 등 다양한 프로모션도 진행되었습니다.

경상북도 자카르타사무소도 행사에 참여해 경주, 안동 등 주요 관광지를 소개했습니다. 특히 APEC 2025 KOREA 개최로 인해 경주에 대한 관심이 눈에 띄게 높아졌음을 확인할 수 있었습니다.

또한 사무소는 경상북도에 대한 관심을 높이기 위해 경상북도 지도 퍼즐 맞히기, 관광 퀴즈 이벤트 등 다양한 참여형 프로그램을 운영해 큰 호응을 얻었습니다.

다만 아쉬운 점은 현지 여행사들이 홍보하고 판매하는 주요 관광 상품이 서울, 부산, 제주 등에 집중되어 있었다는 점입니다. 그러나 APEC 2025 KOREA 개최와 ‘갯마을 차차차’ 등 드라마 촬영지에 대한 관심 증가를 바탕으로, 앞으로 경상북도가 인도네시아에서 ‘한국 여행의 숨은 맛집’으로 자리매김하기를 기대해 봅니다.

To boost the Korean tourism boom in Indonesia, the Korea Travel Fair was held at Kota Kasablanka Mall, one of Jakarta’s major shopping malls, from November 14 to 16.

The event was hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization and featured participation from 27 organizations, including travel agencies, airlines, and local governments. More than 100,000 local visitors attended the fair, where various promotions such as flight discounts and travel cashback programs were offered.

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Jakarta Office also took part in the event, introducing major travel destinations in the province, including Gyeongju and Andong. In particular, interest in Gyeongju has noticeably increased due to the APEC 2025 KOREA.

To further promote Gyeongsangbuk-do, the office operated several interactive programs such as a Gyeongsangbuk-do map puzzle challenge and a tourism quiz, which received an enthusiastic response from visitors.

One drawback, however, was that most travel products promoted by local travel agencies were still concentrated on Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. Nevertheless, with the hosting of APEC 2025 KOREA and growing interest in Korean drama filming locations such as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, it is hoped that Gyeongsangbuk-do will emerge as a “must-visit hidden gem”for Korean travel among Indonesian tourists.
